Care and advice is provided both during and after child birth. The midwife attends alternate Friday mornings from 09:30.

The district nursing team provides all types of nursing care, treatment and offers health promotion to patients who are unable to attend the practice. They also assess patient needs and can refer and advise patients regarding care packages and the availability of other services such as podiatry, dieticians and physiotherapy. The district nurses are able to access services including intermediate care and the out-of-hours community nursing team.

Health visitors attached to the practice provide a comprehensive service to all patients’ especially pregnant women and families with children under 5. Available Monday – Friday during working hours. For contact information ask at reception for specific areas.
