Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Community Midwives

Care and advice is provided both during and after child birth. The midwife attends alternate Friday mornings from 09:30.

Community Nurses

The District Nursing Team is based in Winslow. Tel: 01296 711307. The district nursing team provides all types of nursing care, treatment and offers health promotion to patients who are unable to attend the practice. They also assess patient needs and can refer and advise patients regarding care packages and the availability of other services such as podiatry, dieticians and physiotherapy. The district nurses are able to access services including intermediate care and the out-of-hours community nursing team.
